Silouettes

The wonderful thing about visiting Hilton Head during the winter months is that you have the entire beach to yourself. In many ways, you have much of the island to yourself. While the water is too cold to put more that your foot in, you can often have days in the 60’s or 70’s that makes it feel almost normal. Of course, a normal Hilton Head summer has temperatures in the upper 90’s. Not exactly our cup of tea.

I love nothing more than taking family walks along the waters edge. These are the moments when your adult children are still “little kids” to you, as they jump in and out of the surf, daring each other to go in further. I wouldn’t trade these moments for all the money in the world.

“I am an ordinary person who has been blessed with extraordinary opportunities and experiences.” – Sonia Sotomayor
