In this photo, I captured a bird flying over the marsh at sunrise. The low country marsh is home to many creatures that are tolerant to the ever changing tides. Fiddler crabs play in the spartina and birds pass through for a bite to eat, or stop to rest their wings. Sunrise and sunset, the golden hours, has that deep light that provides depth to everything you see. If only I could stand in this exact spot every morning…
