A Light in the Darkness

During the summer, on any given Saturday morning, you might find me at the Reston Farmers Market. On this particular occasion, I decided to take my camera, as it was a gorgeous morning. The colors at the market are amazing, as are the farmers you encounter there. Even in the chaos of the twisty green vines, and the stacked produce in the cramped stand, a ray of sunshine found a way to make this particular squash a star. In an otherwise complicated and unpredictable world, we need to constantly look for that single beam of light.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” – Martin Luther King Jr.
